DMZ at SMM 2026
The German Maritime Centre will once again exhibit at SMM from 1 to 4 September 2026. As the world’s leading trade fair for the maritime industry, SMM provides the setting for the DMZ team to present its work at Stand 215 in Hall B6. The DMZ will also host several events, including a brand launch and a panel discussion on shipbuilding. Find out more here.

all about ports is a trade fair dedicated to port-related topics, taking place for the first time in 2026 alongside SMM. Competition for outstanding academic maritime teaching 2026
The German Maritime Centre once again launches a competition to recognise outstanding academic teaching in the maritime field. Starting now, students on maritime degree programmes are invited to nominate lecturers and professors who demonstrate exceptional commitment to teaching and to their students.
