Have you checked out our DMZ tool “Maritime Map” yet?

The Maritime Map gives an insight into the diversity of maritime Germany and visualises more than 1,000 entries. For example, it lists federal and state ministries as well as their subordinate authorities; seaports and inland ports are shown alongside available handling data for 2024 and 2025 and contact information for the respective port authorities. It also provides information on 48 offshore facilities being planned, constructed or operational, as well as on 13 converter platforms. Another category contains extensive information on research and education institutions, including available training and study opportunities in the maritime sector. Additionally, chambers of commerce, maritime associations and other organisations can be found.

Recently, the Maritime Map has been expanded by a new category, which includes 155 entries of maritime museums and harbours, traditional ships and institutions focused on nature and environmental protection.

Have a look, browse for specific institutions, topics or places, and discover the diverse maritime players all across Germany!

The Maritime Map is expanded and updated continuously. If information is missing or incorrect in our tool, please don’t hesitate to contact us via maritimelandkarte@dmz-maritim.de.
