The Maritime Funding Compass Europe (MFK) is the maritime industry’s go-to online tool for finding suitable EU funding opportunities.

Get a head start with pre-announcements: When it comes to successful funding applications, time is everything. That’s why the Compass will now show pre-announcements for funding calls, even before the official submission period begins. This enables maritime companies, research institutes, and organisations to prepare for upcoming calls in advance, form consortia, and prepare their applications well ahead of time.

Get a sneak peek at drafts: It pays to get an early look at the European funding landscape, even before a call is officially announced. With this new feature, the Funding Compass now also displays drafts of planned funding calls. This helps people in the maritime sector to identify emerging topics and priorities early on, enabling them to align their strategies and projects accordingly. To ensure clarity, all drafts are labelled as “preliminary” within the tool.

New programme overview: A new, easy-to-navigate programme page now brings together all the key information on EU funding programmes in one place: short descriptions, contact details, useful links, and the maritime focus of each programme.
