GSIS and DMZ Establish Strategic Partnership
The Global Security and Innovation Summit (GSIS) and the German Maritime Centre (Deutsches Maritimes Zentrum e.V., DMZ) have entered into a strategic partnership. DMZ side event at the 14th National Maritime Conference. Focus: Securing a skilled workforce
On 29 April 2026, the German Maritime Centre hosted a high-profile side event in Emden on securing a skilled workforce in the maritime sector. At the event, which was held under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, representatives from industry, academia, government and the social partners discussed staffing challenges as a key factor in maritime sovereignty.
