To raise the long-term visibility and attractiveness of the maritime sector in Germany, we are working together with the agency boy | Strategie und Kommunikation to develop a dedicated brand for the maritime industry. This will lay the foundation for targeted, recognisable communication and serve as a strategic framework for all communication and marketing activities.
A brand for the whole scope of the maritime industry
The brand is intended to represent the entire spectrum of the maritime economy, including shipping, shipbuilding, marine technology, the offshore industry, as well as inland and seaports. At its core is the diversity of the sector and the wide range of career paths it offers.
A consistent presence and strong identification
The central objective is to create a brand for a careers campaign for the maritime sector that initially targets young people at the career-orientation stage and inspires them to pursue maritime professions. Long-term, the communication measures are also intended to reach further target groups, such as skilled professionals and those pursuing a career change. The brand strategy is therefore designed to be highly adaptable.
Further development of the brand and a coherent visual identity
Building on the brand foundations already developed, the brand will be further refined and translated into a coherent visual identity. This will include in particular:
Brand and logo (wordmark and symbol)
- Typography and colour palette
- Tone of voice and visual language
- Channel recommendations
- Design elements for digital channels (website, social media) as well as analogue applications (e.g. trade fair stands, flyers, promotional materials, stickers
